Military Family Camp Summer 2011!

For the past 2 summers Sky Ranch has provided an awesome experience for Military Families at our UTE TRAIL camp in Colorado. This summer we had 8 families attend during what we would call Session 12. As you can see, camp is located in heart of the Western slope of the Rocky Mountains. It is so beautiful.

Every week during the summer we run a family camp so you should totally tell your parents you want to go! OR...if you know of a Military Family that would love to be apart tell them to contact Sky Ranch at 903-266-3300!

Who's that Gal?

Last post we met Clinton and now we want to introduce you again...to our Sky 1 & 2 Girls Manager...TAMARA McGUIRE! All the ladies know her but for you guys who haven't have the honor to spend time with her, here is a little bit about her...

She went to Texas A&M University and got a degree in something real crazy smart. She is happily married to Mike McGuire who also works at Sky Ranch. Tamara LOVES cupcakes, all things pink and purple, grubby sticks and most importantly JESUS. Ya'll should get to know her as quick as you can...cause she is AMAZING.

What's my name again?

...My name is CLINTON! I'm the Sky 1 & 2 Boys Manager and I thought I would RE-INTRODUCE myself. Most of you guys and gals have met me at night events or during powwow and so I thought I would share with you quickly some cool facts about myself.

I went to the University of Kansas. I've been at Sky Ranch for 6 years full-time and 13 summers! And lastly...my wife Jill and I are having our 1st Baby. He is due December 4th. We are so excited. We could use some help with names so if you have any let me know!

FOURTH OF JULY!

What a wonderful time of the year! The Fourth of July is a such a cool time, because it reminds us to celebrate our freedom from Great Britain. This is also a great time to remember what Christ did for us on the cross and to celebrate our freedom from death and sin.

Summer is HERE! Our Leadership Staff (we call them COR) have arrived and we are prepping camp for a great time. As you can see, Gordon (our Sky 2 Boy COR) is filling up with sugar to make sure that he has the energy to LAST til the end.

As this summer goes we want to get everyone checking out our Blog to stay updated on all that is happening...

Summer is ALMOST HERE...

Summer is just around the corner and we are quickly finishing up all the important things before summer starts. John is trying to knock out his last game of Atari so that we won't be focused on trivial things this summer.

Our theme this summer is Panorama. We can't wait to show you just how wonderful it is to see the FULL PICTURE of God. Get excited!
