Summer is HERE! Our Leadership Staff (we call them COR) have arrived and we are prepping camp for a great time. As you can see, Gordon (our Sky 2 Boy COR) is filling up with sugar to make sure that he has the energy to LAST til the end.

As this summer goes we want to get everyone checking out our Blog to stay updated on all that is happening...

If your hungry, let us know...I'm sure Gordon will have a few left over...

Summer is ALMOST HERE...

Summer is just around the corner and we are quickly finishing up all the important things before summer starts. John is trying to knock out his last game of Atari so that we won't be focused on trivial things this summer.

Our theme this summer is Panorama. We can't wait to show you just how wonderful it is to see the FULL PICTURE of God. Get excited!

SUMMER 2011...THE GREATEST SUMMER OF YOUR LIFE!

Panorama Challenge!

I have always LOVED getting mail and still to this day I get strangely excited to see what's in that mailbox. Usually it's nothing too exciting - just bills to pay and the occasional magazine. HOWEVER! We hope you have checked your mailboxes and found Sky 1 & 2's newsletter...aka "The Pow-Wow Post"! I know you are all curious for answers to the Panorama Challenge so we don't want to hold those back!

Did you guess any of the pictures correctly? Let us know how you did!

We hope this got you even more EX'SKY'TED about summer 2011. Did you know it's only 24 days until session 1 begins? HOORAY!!!!!

Spiritual Training is IT!

Hey Sky Ranchers!

We were at the Allen Fun marketing for Sky Ranch and Clinton made us a video.

Now, he got a little confused but 1 Timothy 4:8 says just that. So find some time and read your Bibles and pursue Godliness.

The 83rd Annual Academy Awards!

So last night was the 83rd Annual Academy Awards. The Academy of Motion Pictures gives out these awards called Oscars in a bunch of cool categories like Best Actress or Best Picture or even Best Costume.

It is great to see all these people work so hard and work so long on their movies and to be honored before their peers on national television.

Any movie that is produced is done in hopes of being honored with even just a nomination from the Academy Awards. Oscars are thought of as the ultimate award for a movie star or movie.

Though you and I will probably never be nominated for an Oscar we have an opportunity to receive an award that is better than a hundred Oscars. The Bible tells us that as Christians we have been given the nomination to hear Jesus say when he returns "well done, good and faithful servant".

But to hear that, we must serve others well and continue to do the things that God has called us to do. James 1:27.
